A condensing boiler is a water heating device designed to recover energy normally discharged to the atmosphere through the flue. This greater effieciency can reduce your heating bills by up to 20%. It is now mandatory to have a condensing oil boiler fitted instead of a conventional oil boiler in any new build on any house which received planning permission since January 2009.
